Today was a long day, to say the least. today was our longest distance which was 13.8 miles. Even though we walked for 7 hours 10 minutes to cover that mileage, our total time with breaks and lunch was 8 hours and 20 minutes. It was a long day. We have another reasonably long day tomorrow and then two short days to reach Santiago. Below are some pictures from today’s walk.
The fact that first aid is delivered is reassuring. Did you save Fernando’s phone number? “Stop complaining” should be the new design for the sign worldwide.
The road looks well travelled so you have many companions in faith. Weather is good. We are cheering you on and hoping all feet will support you and Mike through to the finale.
