As we walked today, we think we passed the highest elevation we will encounter. The scenery was lovely!
We were making good progress this morning until we came upon a herd of cows being moved. We held back because we weren’t sure we could outrun them or predict where they were going!
We did have one section that was difficult for me. We should have taken the road for the cyclist peregrinos! That would have been much easier!
Tomorrow we are scheduled to walk 14 kilometers, so I’m not sure if I’ll get anything posted.
Holly is that your rocky trail/path that you have to navigate? Darrell
We managed to skip a section like that a few days ago by following the cyclists’ path. But we didn’t avoid this one. So, yes, I did go down it with the help of my walking sticks and Mike!
Congrats on your journey and efforts so far. The pictures look amazing. Hopefully, once in awhile, you have time in the evening for a sip of the local wine. Best wishes!!
Thanks! Tomorrow is one of our longest days! Hope we survive it! We will pass the halfway point tomorrow!
Sounds like ypu are enjoying the journey. Hopefully the weather will continue to be dry
Beautiful countryside !
What is it about you, photography and cows?!?!? Your images are amazing capturing such beauty and history. I’d have a hard time wanting to keep walking because of all the history….but I guess there’s more around every corner! Glad you two are holding up! Be safe and enjoy.
